Summary and Overall Rating

Joe Hall Elementary serves PreK through Fifth Grade in the Miami Springs area. It enrolls approximately 515 students with an average class size of sixteen. Academic performance is solid with around sixty two percent proficiency in math and fifty seven percent proficiency in reading. A concern worth noting is chronic absenteeism, affecting roughly thirty eight percent of students.

The school follows district policy that requires staff to respect student chosen names and pronouns from early grades. Parents are not given an option to opt out of these identity related policies.

From a traditional or faith based viewpoint the school receives a rating of 3.5 out of 10, recognizing strong academics balanced by attendance challenges and district identity protocols that may not align with some family values.
