Summary and Overall Rating

Kinloch Park Elementary School serves PreK through fifth grade in Miami’s Little Havana area. The school enrolls approximately 540 students and maintains a student teacher ratio of about 16 to 1. Academic performance is significantly below district and state averages, with proficiency in both math and reading trailing by many percentage points. Chronic absenteeism regularly exceeds 28 percent of students.

District policy requires staff to respect student chosen names and pronouns beginning in early grades. Parents are not provided an option to opt out of these requirements.
