Summary and Overall Rating

Parkway Elementary School serves students from PreK through Fifth Grade in Miami Gardens. The school enrolls approximately 540 students and maintains a student teacher ratio of around fifteen to one. Academic performance is below average with approximately 31 percent proficiency in math and 32 percent in reading.

District guidelines require staff to respect student chosen names and pronouns beginning in early grades. Parents are not provided an option to opt out of these practices.
